Note From Elizabeth Jackson
A bid of $5 on a toleware spice box when I was just 13 years old was the start of my collecting adventures at a country auction with my mother and grandmother, both of whom never met an object they didn’t like. It’s the same for me. My business grew out of my love for things. For more than fifteen years, I’m so gratified to serve the clients who trust me with their prized possessions – and the customers who continue to come for the thrill of the hunt.
Now, with the new ecommerce website, finding these unique and original “new old things” will give customers a third way to shop! Click and buy at www.elizabethjackson.com; shop Estate Sales, or come visit the Showroom, where all the online merchandise is also available to see in person.
What’s more, the Showroom at Liberty Square will be more than a retail space. Beginning in the Spring, we’ll be offering a new “Object Lessons” workshops led by antique experts and interior designers to help customers learn about such topics such as how to start an affordable art collection, how to style bookshelves and tabletops and the art of mixing vintage with modern to personalize an interior that reflects who you are!
The idea that I’m always trying to impart is that the most interesting homes are the ones that are populated with items acquired over time. When you come to my sales, you take a bit of someone’s history home with you. Someone else’s story then becomes part of your story – and your home.
There are links on the website for more information, to ask questions on any products, or to schedule a free estate sale consultation in your homes!
Thanks to all of my faithful customers, clients, and staff and cheers to a great new season!
All my best,
